We stayed in Dolly for our mini-moon straight after our wedding. We had the best time, and were very lucky with the weather, and got to enjoy the outdoor area as much as the beautiful shepherd hut. It has everything you need for a comfy stay, the bed is wonderful, with the most beautiful view out of the window. We also had our dog with us, and he had the best time exploring the fields.
We had an absolutely lovely weekend at Fat Pheasants, and would recommend it to everyone! The shepherds huts themselves are brilliantly kitted out with everything you need, including a hot shower, a log burning stove and big and very comfortable bed. The hot tub and BBQ are added bonuses - it feels very luxurious ending the day with a G&T in the hot tub overlooking the fields! The huts are in a really peaceful, beautiful spot and Jo did everything she could to make us feel welcome and provide us with everything we needed for our stay. Thank you!
We had the most fantastic time in Dolly. I was worried that I'd be stuck in the middle of a field with just my fiancé for company all weekend but as it turned out the farm was stunning and there was so much to do within a 25 minute radius. Went to Startford, Blenheim palace, Leamington Spa and Warwick in our short stay and was highly satisfied with the care, additional touches and helpfulness that Jo provided. We will be back soon!
Wonderful weekend break, nice to have a private location and feel detached from the world. Also nice to have a Waitrose 10 minutes away. We stayed in Dolly, great hot tub, the bed was bigger than I expected and plenty of equipment to get on with cooking etc. It was self check in which was really easy and communications were nice and responsive. I'd really like to go back here.
We had an amazing few nights in 'Dolly', a perfect way to recharge the batteries and come off grid for a few nights. Dolly was cute, comfortable and clean. A stunning location set on the most beautiful farm with varying walks depending on your ability. Definitely visit The Falcon up the road that serves amazing food. The wood fired hot tub was delightful, even in the light drizzle we had. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break away. It was really easy to book and I emailed Jo prior to booking to ask a few questions, she was really responsive and helpful. Jo continued to be helpful following our booking and continued to be responsive to any messages/ queries I had. I would highly recommend booking this lovely Shepard hut!
We had an incredible stay in Dolly, the location of the Shepherds hut was so peaceful and private. We ordered a few of the hampers (breakfast, BBQ sweet treats & dinner) the food was all fresh from the farm, cooking instructions included and tasted amazing! Jo went above and beyond to make it so special, the small touches, home made Jams and Gin. We will definitely be booking again, taking friends next time and opting for the bell tents.
WOW! We had the most incredible stay at Fat Pheasant Shepherd Huts. From the stunning views, completely secluded location and wood fire hot tub - everything was perfect. We stayed in Maggie and it was fully kitted out with everything we needed, including books and board games. Jo was a FAB host and the food hamper filled with local produce is a MUST. We will 100% be booking in next year! I'd wholeheartedly recommend :)
Can’t say enough nice things about the shepherds hut we stayed in. The hut itself is beautifully done and located in a gorgeous field. The views from outside and the bed are just to die for. We loved the area and all of the gorgeous walks. We have spent the evenings by a fire drinking wine and attempting to cook over fire (which was very entertaining!) It was the perfect getaway and most importantly it was every dogs dream!! Jo was lovely and really accommodating. We would stay again in a heartbeat.
